I'll be running a practice session tonight. Friday's event details. This will be for tuning and getting a feel for the cars, remember they don't have any aero tuning. I'll pop into the RIP chat at or after 8:00pm est. No definite time, you guys can start without me.

Great turn out last night, we ran open lobby and had 16 people at one point. I'll post some pics later. The racing is going to be real close under these guidelines. I found that lap time of 44 - 45 seconds are o.k. as draft and transmission gearing will allow you to hang with the pack. Maybe a new kind of room to ost in open lobby, not the cleanest drivers out there, but there was a lot of interest.

Yes, will be hella fun! These old beasts are torque monsters. I kept trying to redline the tach like most newer cars, but my 440 just falls flat at 6000. Shift at 6 and she just jumps forward.

The cars do handle better than expected, just a bit pushy. Be carefull about the "rocking" that can occur with these classics.

Lots of fun indeed SK! In a way, I wish there were more muscle cars to use. Was funny at the end, a guy comes in and asks me to lower the minimum weight. 'What are you running?' I ask. 'Z28' comes the reply. 'Current weight?' He tells me it's 1100 some odd. elohel What part of 1400kg/700hp was hard to understand?
