Amazing who is in first!! Maybe this will be Mark's year to win Nascar's top prize which has eluded him throughout his Nascar career. Maybe JJ, who is also his teammate, will let the old man win the big one!!

It's possible JJ might give MM a break, but remember hes going for 4 in a row. I dont see him passing that one up.

I don't think JJ will pass on the opportunity to make Nascar history and a record that may not be forever surpassed. So we can forget that notion. Then, factor in Smoke, who has not won the championship in a while. I believe its going to be either JJ or Smoke winning it this year. However, and just maybe, MM will have one hell of a Chase run and not exactly by miracle (ok maybe a little), win it.

As expected, Jimmie Johnson has taken over the lead. Mark Martin is still within reach tho, 90 pts behind in second place. Jeff Gordon had great runs the past 4 races and had moved up to third, 135 pts behind leader. Wow, HMS is being tagged as the NY Yankees of Nascar.
