Hi all,
I hope your enjoying GT5 as much as I am. Everyone must be focusing because alot of RIPs are online, but very few are in chat...lol.
I would like to get the WRE up and rolling with all of our new toys. The online connection seems to be getting better and we can set up awesome races.
Below is a post I put up for the Event Staff to chew on. I think it's best to put it out for the whole team to look at and make comments.
Please give us your thoughts

I was looking through the dealerships and came to a conclusion. There are ALOT of cars that I have no desire to own. That made me think about the RED series.
What do you guys think about using just race modified cars for the RED series? If somebody finds a car that they love and it's able to be race modified, RED series members add that car to their garage and modify it as their money allows.
I found two cars right off the bat that would make for some great racing. The Integra R and the 69 Camaro. Both can be modified and team members can put their personal numbers on the cars. I was able to race modify my Integra the first day I had the game.
The Integra cost around $117,000 and the Camaro around $210,000 to modify. The Camaro is still sitting in my garage untouched..lol. Both of these cars can be used in multiple A-Spec races. These cars are also premium, so our interior view guys will be happy.
We can break the RED series down into different classes for the month. Yes...run the same car on different tracks. This should give drivers time to modify the next car.
Classes:
Karts - These puppies are fun! We can start the RED series next week with these if we want. I miss racing you guys...lol.
Front wheel drive - Integra R or something else. Integra can also run on dirt and snow.
Muscle Car - 69 Camaro or any other race mod car. Hey PokerFace...if you read this, is the Mach 1 able to be race modified? The vette can not. I spent alot of money on that sucker.
Rear wheel drive - ?? maybe The new Camaro or Vette or a full blown GT5 race car like Tom's Supra. Don't know if we can change the number that come on those cars
Nascar?...Maybe we just set up a fun Nascar race once a month (maybe a weekend race). You can get one from the garage in the lounge for free. There's only two different ones, but is that really a big deal? If they really want Tony Stewart's car, they can spend the $500,000. Oh...by the way...we can run the Daytona 500..so we have that on the burner.
F1 (Might take awhile to get this one)
(insert others here)
What do you guys think?
The nice part is we can all put our numbers on these cars and it would help to avoid the "I want to drive this car" arguement every week.
It would also save money in the long run since drivers won't have to buy weird cars every week and try to tune them up. That would get expensive.
If you think about it, we could race the Integra for quite awhile in the RED series on the different track. In the mean time, earn money to pimp out cars choosen for the other classes.
Keep in mind that this is for the RED series. Hopefully it will make for a level playing field. The RAD series can run anything they choose.
P.S.
I can send pictures of the race modified Integra and Camaro if anybody want to see them.
I was able to modify the Camaro today. It's wicked and it's not even maxed out yet...lol
