| Just wondering what everyones plans are with the game on the horizon. How will you start?
I know everyone have a different approach when tackling new games. Some like to hit the license tests, while others check out career or arcade mode.
I know when I buy my first car, I'm hitting the online button. I'm dying to see that feature. With private rooms, I wonder if we can just jump online and race the car we have.
From what I've heard, everything on GT5 is unlocked by experiance points, not credits. So it won't matter if you have a ton of credits, if you don't have the points...you ain't buying that cool new car. If experiance points are available online, we should be set..lol. If not, it will be time to hit GT Life...lol.
I heard you can level up pretty good with the license test, so I might hit that after checking out the online stuff.
The Tunas have a video on their site showing a pit stop on Daytona..pretty cool. Leave it to the Tunas to notice that nobody passes you a drink through the window net during the pit stop.
NO DRINK??...That's it. I'm not getting this game.

| I'll probably try for an online experience right away also. I'm still stunned by the lack of new Ford product though. The '71 Mach 1 will be the first 'target' of acquisition. Followed no doubt by what ever cars necessary to advance in the game. I always try to go as far as I can with the Fords in the game. Then I try to limit car purchases to the minimum untill I can go after the 'heavy hitters'. My unabashed bias for car makes can be a hindrance. Of course, we won't really know what will be expected to play online, so for the first go I'll just lose myself in the wonder that is Grand Turismo. One thing's for sure, I look forward to how it will change our time together. Man, I thought I wasn't getting enough sleep as it is! | |

| first i am going to acuire all the licences i need to race . do whatever to unlock as many tracks as i can ,and cars , will you still be able to win cars by winning events . if so i plan to use what tranfers over to win alll i can before i have to spend any credits. it would be nice to actually have a plan of attack but im gonna wait and see what i do when i get the disc in my ps3 . when i started gt4 i made it a long way spent a lot of credits on cars all wasted time and energy . so i started over and found out that you could win every car you needed to progress through the game without spending any credits at all , i bought the first car for 18,000 and won every car after that. so i may try the same with gt5 as well. i had a list of what cars you could win at each event, alls i spent credits on was upgrades and tires and stuff. i have a feeling december is gonna fly by. | |

| You can still win cars or "gifts" for winning events. Gifts can be anything from a free paint job to car upgrades. | |

| Ok, I was just a little excited before. Now I've seen the online menus. OMG..we're going to have fun!
We can qualify before the race and the game will sort grid based on the qualifier. It also looks like we have the option of a standing or a rolling start. Can't tell if we have full weather control....I'll shut up now. Don't want to spoil it too much...lol.

| ive had a few drivers express to me that they were sick of waiting for gt5 and no longer had an interest in the game and would not be buying it as well. some being team drivers amazingly enough. but the funny thing is they were playing gt5p when it was said to me. why wait so long and give up at the last moment. people are funny. | |

| Just wait...see how long they last. They'll get it...it's like being a crackhead. They don't want to do crack, but they can't help themselves...lol.
Oh...did you tell them the wait is over? The crying and whining about this game has gone to epic levels. I can't wait till 6 months from now when all the 10 year olds go back to their "clans" and leave the game for the real drivers to enjoy.
By the way...RIP WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER CALL OURSELVES A CLAN!!...ok I feel better. Clans are for FPS. Racing has teams. A clan sounds like they're out in the woods trying to hit each other with sticks. Children are so silly.

| I'll have few hours to check out the game if I get it tomorrow then I'll be hitting the road early on Thanksgiving day. You guys can tell me all about it when I come back Saturday night. Post all the good, the bad and the ugly here so I know what to avoid. | |
