Hopefully this is temporary, but yes, PSN is down again. I will let you all know when I see it come back up.

From what I can see on twitter blogs, PSN will be undergoing maintenance from 10am to 11:30 am. I'll let you all know then.

Yes, if users were signed in prior to downage, then they stay online, but sign out and one can't sign back in.
