According to the latest GTPlanet post, it is rumored that the famous japanese Twin Ring Motegi track may appear in an installment of a GT Academy event, which somewhat suggests that it may eventually appear in GT5 or like Bathurst in GT6. Let's hope sooner than later.

Yeah, I remember it being with 4 configurations. Still kinda suprised that they didn't offer us Suzuka West.

Anyone know when PS4 is set to be released? I figure GT6 will follow suit.

To answer my own question, PS4 is set to be released in 7 months. Just before The End Of Days! LOL hahahaha. At least we'll have a few days to play.

I'll believe the PS4 when I see it. As for GT6, well we all know how long that would take, right?

Actually kaz said it wont take as long as gt5 because gt5 used completely new framework from the ground up, instead of using the existing gt5 prologue foundation. He also went on to say that gt6 will be using the same framework as gt5 of course with modifications, cause as we all know since gt1 every installment of gran turismo has been tweaked, giving each game a completely new physics engine. Let's not forget that impatience and hurried sony marketing is what caused gt5 to prematurely be released resulting in the endless DLC patches to fix it. If we waited the additional 2 years that kaz said he needed, one can only assume that gt5 would have been even better than it is today.

Well as expected there will be a fee for Motegi Circuit (with all variations) which is disappointing. I don't mind paying for a track that is new to the GT series (spa/route x), but it's a slap in the face to charge for a modified GT3/GT4 track that arguably should've been in the game already. Anyway see GTPlanet for details on upcoming update.

I'll have to agree with you Joker. I always felt that each track and car should had been retained in futur games. New stuff is great, but give us what made the game great in the first place!
