| Week 1 of Saturday Night Class Racing (SNCR)
Nurburgring GP/F
47 laps (yes, that's 150 miles)
June 8th, 2013 9:00 Eastern
Points will be awarded for each position of each class. The points will be tallied each week, and winners of each class will receive congratulations and accolades. System will be traditional points system. With luck, we can get 12 or 15 guys in to spread out through the classes.
Damage will be on. This may be the big equalizer for the smaller cars. Please be careful when racing with others and overtaking when smaller cars are around. Be patient, it'll be a long race.
Drivers aids will be off. ABS of course will be allowed.
Open tire choice
Open car choice in 3 classes;
720PP The big boys. Whatever you can find to fit in this class at this PP. Preferably an LMP from any year. Cars to use would be what we know as Prototypes. Audi R8/R10, Peugeot 908, Courage, Toyota TS020, 88C-V, Mazda 787-B etc.
650PP The brawlers. Whatever you can find that is PRODUCTION based is what to use here. They've gone through plenty of names in the past, GT1/GTR/GTS but they are fast, and they are real race cars. Cars can be of the homologized type (Mercedes CLK-GTR, Panoz Esperante, Nissan R390) or more traditional cars (Corvette C5-R, Viper GTS-R, Ford GT LM)
585PP The backmarkers. Every racing series has some team that just don't have the money to compete. But they do have determination. Determination to field a car, and run it as best they can however futile the chase for the outright win. Cars to use in this class will be whatever you can find to fit in REALISTICLY. Please don't pull out a Gillet Vertigo or Citroen GT for this class. This is more the M3, RX-7, GT-R type class. Heck, even 350Zs or Camaros would be what I'm looking for here. Check your RM or TC car lists to see what you might want to look at for this class.
For all classes, I would ask that we keep the de-tuning to a sane level. Sure, an RM ZO6 could fit the 585, but should it? Please come with the right attitude. Not everyone will be able to win outright. But with 3 winners in the race, your chances of having fun are tripled.

| I hope everyone has had a chance to decide what class they would like tackle. I myself will be running in the 650PP class. I hope others will spread out and take advantage of what the three classes have to offer.
I will have the room up early so that those who wish to, can settle in for some late testing. Remember, we will start at 9:00 PM EDST and run the full 47 laps until the end. It will undoubtedly be the 720 class that decides how long the race will last. I will have the delay set to maximum, so those cars that are lapped will have the best possible use of remaining time.
Please be courteous to those around you. This will be a lot of fun, as long as everyone behaves themselves whilst passing slower cars or battling for position. There is no point forcing the issue when faster cars will overtake, or if the car you are dicing with is on a different tire strategy.
See you all later, and remember....if this is a successful series, we will run another series to give people a chance to try different classes.

| Wow! What a great time! I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. It looked like there were some great races amongst the classes, with lead changes and pit strategy showing a mixed leader board all night.
Congratulations to SVT-R_ for the 720 (and overall) win!
650 saw Ray (RIP_Bee) take the class win.
zzz_Anononomous_zzz took the 585 with a wing and a prayer (and a few more liters of fuel than I had)
Thanks everyone for entering this series, and I hope to see you all next week!
