I've been working on set up and have made the car way more drivable now, managing a 1:34.1 around Suzuka Circuit. I've Got to get my other wheel before I challenge for the Formula Gran Turismo World Championship Event. The paddle shifters on my current wheel have had 2 1/2 years of abuse and are now missing up shifts and down shifts. New wheel is on the way as an early Christmas present to myself!!!

Thank God for the new update with the online dealership. I finaly got my FGT! I think it handles very well out of the box. Will be cool to see 16 RIPs running them!

If you want to make the GTF Championship a little easier, run Monza and Suzuka as single events and get Gold. they usually show up as dry weather.
Then run the Championship, and depending on the second place points, you can exit at Suzuka-rain, maybe Monza-rain.

Monza in the rain is ok, Suzuka is tough.

BJ has warned me of 18th lap of the championship. 20th lap I was leading and about 20 seconds away from grabbing the gold at Fuji then ....1 little mistake I ended up 11th

What warning about the 18th lap there Clubs? Which track?

If I remember right, you wont get that big a lead in any of the races to afford making mistakes, a few seconds if over-running rumble strips maybe, but going off track will make hard work getting back to the front.

I think what BJ was saying is after lap 17th its getting tough.

After a few tries earlier today, I decided TC off (give me better acceleration) I was up in front most of the time til I got slow at one of the sharp turn and this smart @#@ sneaked to outside and passed me think it was lap 12th. Took me 4 laps to get back in 1st spot then held on. 3Card is right, you won't get big lead with these races, I did a few times and thought I was gone but they caught up quickly.

Road course Indy I got gold on 1st try. I was going to give up after 6 laps but I hung on and got faster n faster as I picked up the pace. After the race I got up and felt like I'd just gotten off merry-go-round: lol:
