| **!EVENT REFORMATED!**
Thanks to Goss's erie ability to point out my stupidity, the event is returning as a GTLM at Suzuka. Please note the changes below...
IN IT TO WIN IT
Event format: spec eliminator Date: Oct 17, 2010 Time: chat at 8:00, race at 9:00 Track: Suzuka pro Car: Ford GTLM specII Tires: N3 manditory This event is designed to reward patience and good decision making along with hard driving. All drivers will run N3 tires. There will be no traction control or active control systems allowed. Bunch start, 70 mph, GO at 30sec. For the first segment of the event, you must complete ALL laps to continue. If there are 11 or more cars, one incomplete race and you're out. When we get down to 10 or less cars it becomes 2 incomplete races and you're out. When 2 consecutive races are run with all cars finishing, that will trigger the automatic eliminator races. Any car failing to complete the race will be eliminated... ALONG WITH THE LAST FINISHING CAR. Last driver standing wins. FTC rules: 1 FTC = free pass 2 FTC = 1 incomplete race 3 FTC = 1 inc + 1 pass 4 FTC = 2 incomplete races

| Like the concept, just not sure how long this might take. Good choice of track, car and tyre combo! | |

Sorry clubbers. This is not a DENTS event. No intentional hitting. If you get taken out, that's racing. This event is not about winning any race except the last one. You must drive a smart, herads up race and try to keep yourself out of trouble.
I will not be holding any hands in this event. Wrecks happen in racing and the driver responsible is not always the one who pays the price. There is likely going to be some bruised egos in this one. If you don't think you can handle the pressure, stay out of the fire. I think we are all good enough to race clean in this one. The car is very drivable on the n3's, as long as you use a soft shoe. This event will quickly eliminate those who like to drive with a lead foot.
I would not recomend bump drafting, however it is not outlawed. The event may indeed take some time to finish. If it becomes an issue, the remaining drivers may elect to complete the event on another night. Let's just see how it goes. I think we will whittle the field down pretty quick.

| No Problem DMH. Me and Joker had a quick run in it tonight too and I must say, it's a tricky drive with the controller. You could just run it as a 'Last Man's Out', then if we get a race to ourselves, adopt the original rules? We could just hook up for some good old, FUN 'N' tyre racin'! lol.
Just a thought. | |

| How about I change the name to Slick Sunday and reverse the idea. Any drivers who actually finish a race get to go to a 1 race shootout for Smoove Shoe champ? Regardless, I challenge all Rips to an N tire night of racing! (get it? N tire, entire. Lol, I kill me!) | |
