Eagle's nest (Live stream)

This live feed is kind of cool. Two eagles made this nest in 2007 and have returned to have babies every year. The nest is eighty feet up in a cottonwood tree in Iowa. The proud parents have hatched two with a third due to hatch any time.

The half eaten prairie dog in the nest is cool too...lol.

Cool video Blackjack, I love Eagles.

I know Poke. I got hooked watching them. It's cool when the other eagle shows up and they start "talking" to each other.

I don't want people to get confused about it being a "video". The link is to a 24/7 live feed on the nest. The camera goes to infra-red at night.

The third eaglet should pop out any time now.

Ahhh, it's live, sweet. Yes, eagles language is not like other birds, but is similar to the other carrion birds. It is something to see. They are so gracefull, Most of the time, lol.

Birds sleep funny, looks like a headless eagle!

The third baby is busting out of the shell now. The food count in the nest is...1 crow, 1 prairie dog and 3 fish.

I saw "dad" drop off a few fish today. It's fun to watch them in nature.

The third eaglet hatched. The poor eagles have their "hands" full. Mom and dad were both in the nest feeding them. The oldest baby has an attitude..lol. He picks on his siblings and won't hesitate to peck at mom if she pisses him off.

The feed seem to be working fine now.

I see some movements finally. Last couple days I thought I was watching a still picture

I see the little birdies poking their heads out from under their mother

Which one do I feed??? They're eating right now. The 3rd one is still sleeping. The other two are eating, kind of pushing for dominance, some baby bird action.

the fact you would find and post this is amazing.this is actually a very rare thing to witness.cudos to you. reinforcing my belief that i have in fact found the perfect group of guys to be running with. hope im not to mushy,its just that something like this gets me back in touch with where i should be. thank you.just a old softey inside i guess lol.

This is the safe way to observe. Some clown in the west suburbs advertised about hawks nesting in a tree in his yard. So naturally somebody decides to 'get a closer look'.

15 stitches to the forhead later, you can be sure the hawks are wondering what the heck ya gotta do for some privacy.

The guy actually thought he could just grab a ladder and climb up into an adjacent tree. "I guess they are a little territorial" said the man after falling off mid-way up the ladder when the hawk gave him a stern warning to stay away.
