Actually, I was watching it again... the guy on the inside was trying to take the spot in front again and Pitted himself! LOL, the guy in the video was not at fault accept he could have backed off when the leader started drifting close to his front quarter.

I know eh, I can't believe it landed on the wheels and drove pretty well, LOL.

The driver in front is to blame for that accident.he tried to block an overtake and put their both lives in danger.what an ass!!

It appears to me that he is pushing the other guys bumper prior to attempting to pass. Too much road noise to tell if he is actually bumping the other guy.

Actually, it gets deeper. Notice about 2 seconds before the incident, how the driver in the video bumps ever so gently into the leader (just to let him know he was there) then when the video driver went to make the pass, they both came together, A: the leader tried to close the gap, and B: the video driver didn't try not to pit the guy...

With such a long straight following that turn, I wonder why he was so eager to get around the lead car. Notice how his desire to move up at any cost, cost him dearly in the end.

While some would say it's inevitable, incidents like these can always be prevented by remaining patient and looking for the best spot to make a SAFE pass. It may be an amature race, but when you make repeated mistakes like that, you surly won't be called into higher classes anytime soon.
