Sorry guys, I'm outta commission for a while. Not sure when I'm getting a new one, but I am going to. Thanks everybody for the great racing and I look forward to racing with you guys in GT5. Never know, Might be sooner.

It was 160gb, and it YLOD. I've had it for 4 years, so it had a good run. I fixed it last month and hoped it would live longer, thats why I changed the hd. Oh well, i'll give the hd to my mum and buy a slim asap. lol

As far as failure rates go, lots of 60gb ps3 are dying now. Seems to be roughly their life span. PS2 still best system as far as failures go, only had to buy one of those. Gave it to a friend when I got my ps3, and it still is running.

Please remember that the PS Slim is not backwards compatable.......It will not play PS2 games.

Just took the downtime and went on vacation. Nice to know my absence was noticed, lol. As far as the back comp, my brothers ps2 is still kicking around at my moms, so no issues there.

Funny thing happened tho. Got back and found out that my sisters stashed a cat here. It's pretty laid back and seems to get along with my dog, so maybe I'll keep it.

Any ways, pS3 slim is 299 here, so I might pickone up here tommorow or soon. Goin to wallyworld to take a peek. And get some air freshiner for the cat, WHEEEW. LOL
