| Might be worth a note to say that all other upgrades are to be added to the cars, just to make things clearer. | |

| Hey guys, I've taken the liberty of copying this information over to the Tuna site and will report back with who all will be interested in joining in.
I haven't tested the cars yet, but on paper it looks like the Silvia should run circles around the NSX.

| Thanks Golfpro, "the Silvia should run circles around the NSX" I'm not sure your above statement is true | |

| I know. I've found that comparing PP is next to useless with some of these cars. Still... it has more hp and less weight. Haven't tested either car yet.
FYI, we have about 10 Tunas with varying degrees of interest in this event. Most plan on dropping in as their schedules allow and running one or two races.
My plan is to share the room number as soon as you post it. There's no predicting who will show up and when, but some of us will be stopping in for sure.
Also, our Saturday Night Drive-in this weekend is shaping up into a warm up event for this one. We're featuring Race Modified cars for the month of April and it seemed like a good time to try the Silvia and NSX.

| Kool, we'll try to post the room number here no less than 30 minutes before the race time.
Saturday night Drive-in sounds good, we'll be there.

I've been meaning to ask about this. Our procedure has been to Race Modify the cars that can be and run them as the game sets them up. Are you saying we can add all the other bolt-ons and boost their performance even higher? I mean there's nothing vague about the statement. I just want to be sure I understand it.

| To answer your question, yes you can add other bolt-ons to make them faster. My NSX actual HP is higher than 362, I think it's above 400hp and I used the power limiter to keep the extra HP down. I'll let WD tells you if what you're thinking is what he was saying | |

I mean there's nothing vague about the statement. I just want to be sure I understand it. Yep, we basically run the RM cars fully modified. As we'd already run an event with the NSX with every available add-on included to maximise performance, we needed to reduce the performance of it to match the Silvia spec for this event, hence removing the Tuned ECU and then limiting the power to 90%. The reason the Silvia isn't fully modified is because we haven't used it yet and we wanted to keep the cars at a sensible performance level to keep the racing close. Even if people have added the Turbo upgrades to the Silvia, it is easy enough to remove them for the RIP's Indy Pageant. As Ace said, as long as the performance figures are somewhere close to the ones posted here, then that's cool with us. If someone wants to leave certain mods off (as they're irreversable), then set the power limiter as required to meet the spec (for the NSX), that's fine. If people would rather not do the engine upgrades to the Silvia for example, but instead add the necessary turbo to make the spec, again that's fine. It should be a fun event, but hopefully with some close racin' throughout. WD.

| Yeah, close racing will be the order of the day. Looking forward to this. With any luck, we will have a good mix on the number of Silvias and NSXs in each room. | |

| Thank you. That explains why I was having trouble matching the hp on my two cars. I tend to avoid making any of the irreversible mods. (the weight and hp Stage upgrades.) It also explains why my Silvia has been turning much better laps than my NSX. I wish GT5 had avoided allowing changes you could not reverse. It makes standardized setup more difficult. No matter. I don't think any of the Tunas will be able to attend the entire event, but several are planning on dropping in. The final event in our GT300 series is being held late Sunday afternoon. It involves multiple laps at the NincompoopRing so a lot of the guys will be burned out after that. | |
